Lock

CELL holders have the option to lock their CELL in exchange for veCELL in proportion to their lock-up duration. The minimum lock-up duration is 2 weeks, while the maximum is 2 years.

For instance:

  • Locking 100 CELL for the maximum duration of 2 years will result in receiving 100 veCELL.

  • Locking 100 CELL for 1 year will receive 50 veCELL.

The longer the lock-up duration, the greater the amount of veCELL an user will receive. Consequently, they will have more voting power and thus earn higher rewards.

Upon locking their CELL, users will receive veCELL in the form of an NFT. This NFT is transferable and tradable, allowing users the flexibility to extend the lock-up duration at any point.
